Hello! My name is Mrs. Levchenko. That can be a hard name to say so I also go by Mrs. L. Much easier! This is my 5th year teaching at Gess Elementary and I greatly enjoy being a part of this incredible learning community!
I was born and raised in Colville, Washington with my six siblings. I married my wonderful husband in 2015. We moved to a beautiful area in Chewelah where we enjoy doing many outdoor activities together!
I graduated from Western Governors University with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies K-8 in 2015. I could not wait to start teaching and came to Gess Elementary the following fall as a kindergarten teacher. In 2016, I began teaching first grade and absolutely love it! Since I enjoy learning as much as teaching, I returned to Western Governors and completed my Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction in 2018. Here are a few of my favorites:
