JJSHS CTE Mission Statement

The purpose of Career & Technical Education is to create, identify and maintain dynamic vocational programs that utilize current technical procedures, techniques, and up-to-date instruction and equipment. It must be integrated into the total school process so as to prepare all students for quality life roles as workers, family members, individuals and citizens.

About CTE at Jenkins

Jenkins Jr/Sr High School and the Chewelah School District are pleased to be able to offer our CTE students state-approved courses in Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources (Power, Structural & Technical Systems; Plant Systems; Animal Systems; Natural Resources Systems), Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM, Architecture and Construction), Information Technology (Information Support & Services), Manufacturing (Production) and Finance (Personal Financial Literacy) including non-paid CTE-.5 credit internships and/or paid cooperative worksite placements.
