    I am so lucky to work at Gess Elementary and spend every day teaching and learning with Gess Gators.
     
    I grew up in Chewelah and graduated from Jenkins High School.   I graduated from Eastern Washington University with a BA in Reading and  completed my Masters in Curriculum and Administration at Gonzaga University.
     
    I have spent most of my life as either a student or a teacher and often both.  I am so excited to be in my 34nd year of education, a job that I absolutely LOVE!  My role in education has changed as I am working this year as a Title I reading and math coach.  This is an entirely new experience for me and once again I am on a  journey with much to learn.  That is always exciting for me.   It should be a great year.
